About An Otter's Cove-A Friendly Place to Stay in Sitka

If you're visiting Sitka, AK, we would like to invite you to share our hearth and home-at Otter's Cove Bed and Breakfast.

Otter's Cove is a small, intimate and very friendly B&B, located right on the shore of the beautiful Sitka Sound, famous as the Annual Herring Fishery. An area of unimaginable natural beauty, our guests have a postcard perfect view of Mt. Edgecumbe across the water, which bears an unmistakable resemblance to famous Mt. Fuji.

We are not a hotel and unless you prefer staying in an impersonal, commercial room, that's a good thing. Our rooms define comfort and our B & B defines gracious. It's also private-each room has its own bath and all of the rooms are completely separated from the main house. There is plenty of free off-street parking and guests have their own private entrance.

Every day we are pleased to serve you a hot, hearty Alaskan breakfast. Besides the fact that not many other places serve a free breakfast, ours is delicious and legendary.

You also have a full, well-equipped kitchen and a super-comfortable living room-with all of the amenities-to share with the other guests. Our large screen TV is perfect for your favorite DVD or free movie channels. And with just 3 available rooms, you'll get to know everybody and make friends quickly.

As our many repeat customers will tell you (be sure to check out our Guest Book Page), An Otter's Cove is a one-of-a-kind destination. Guests are welcome to bring the food and beverages they enjoy and then cook in or grill out on the outdoor barbeque.

Enjoy your favorite beverage on the deck in our oceanside backyard, with the blazing firepit to keep you comfortable. It's a great place to watch our namesake otters and their sea-lion friends. If you're here on business or want to work during your stay, we offer high speed Internet access via free Wi-Fi.

An Otter's Cove has been a labor of love for proprietor Cheryl Jordan since 2006. Both her passion and her profession, An Otter's Cove has welcomed hundreds of visitors over the years. Now we are pleased to welcome you.

What a wonderful place to spend my first night in Alaska. Thank you so much. Between the beautiful room, hospitality and sitting in the hot tub looking out over the ocean and islands - for once in my life speechless!!!! -Valerie & Ben Roberds
